Regulation avalanche

The financial crisis in 2008 has lead to a more strict regulation of the financial markets. Many legislative dossiers that have their origin in, inter alia, the crisis and the report of the High-level group on Financial Supervision in the EU are being proposed by the Commission.

NSA follows closely all the dossiers that impose rules and regulations to the capital markets and actors in these markets. Currently, the proposal for a new Regulation on markets in financial instruments (MiFIR) and the Directive on markets in financial instruments repealing Directive 2004/39/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (MiFID) are one of our main issues in the field of financial regulation.
